| So, hey. I'm a De Leonist. I believe that a revolution must begin in the 'First World', and that the bullet should only speak when the ballot is silenced (which is enough for you guys to go around shooting people, probably, while still not being unhygienic). Also, I believe in educating the workers (Fuck 'Bread, Peace and Land'). So, yeah. | |

True. However, by one meaning, we'd be 'democratic socialists' (we want socialism based around democracy). Of course, the 'democratic socialists' of today are usually reformists that believe in universal healthcare, free 'education', etc, as the path to socialism. Of course, SPUSA help this on with their platform, which is a total fucking mess. However, 'democratic socialism' to mean democratic transition from capitalism to socialism is a stupid term, since it implies that democracy is possible under capitalism. | |
